A small sum­ma­ry of how I did dur­ing the ses­sion. Things I did well. Things I need to keep work­ing on. Trade Reviews are part of my post-mortem but usu­al­ly I post those the next day.

My week­ly goals: 

• Trad­ing rules
  • Use SL scal­ing in case the prof­it tar­get for the set­up doesn’t pro­vide 2R for exam­ple for FA or VAA setups
  • No ear­ly exits, either hit SL or 2R target

DAX — What Mar­ket Nar­ra­tive Played Out? (Keep it short!)

• C extend­ed above IB but then closed with­in IBR with a longer sell­ing wick, M15 failed to close with­in demand and Gold is try­ing to move low­er so I took that as a pos­si­ble direc­tion­al cue and went long
• D closed high­er extend­ing above IBR but clos­ing right at IB high
• E trad­ed high­er hit­ting 1.2R target
• F trad­ed high­er then formed a Doji with long buy­ing wick but closed down on G and con­tin­ued the sell off in H and I TPO

Gold — What Mar­ket Nar­ra­tive Played Out? (Keep it short!)

• C extend­ed and closed below IBR and VAL but leav­ing a long buy­ing wick. D is try­ing to make a LL
• Sus­tained Auc­tion low­er con­tin­ued to I TPO close tak­ing out H4 Demand

Did I take advan­tage of any opportunities?

• DAX
  • Took a long trade as per Hypo 2
• Gold
  • No I did not as I had tak­en a trade on DAX and this would tech­ni­cal­ly be risk­ing twice the amount on the same kin­da trade as it is trad­ing inverse­ly correlated 
  • Hypo 2 played out
