A small summary of how I did during the session. Things I did well. Things I need to keep working on. Trade Reviews are part of my post-mortem but usually I post those the next day.
My weekly goals:
- Trading rules
- Use SL scaling in case the profit target for the setup doesn’t provide 2R for example for FA or VAA setups
- No early exits, either hit SL or target
1–3 (3 being good)

1 Session PECS
1 Clarity — in tune with price
DAX — What Market Narrative Played Out? (Keep it short!)
- C TPO extended and closed above VAH rejecting value, D and E closed higher with E not making a HH
- Price consolidating and creating structure above VAH/IB High
Gold — What Market Narrative Played Out? (Keep it short!)
- D extended above IB but then closed at IB high, E TPO failed the auction.
- Both assets seem to be somewhat in tandem
- No continuation on the FA so I went short on a re-test of newly formed M30 Bear Engulf. Not much profit target so I took a 0.5R profit on the trade as a buffer.
- Then price made a HH before returning back to IBR and consolidate
Did I take advantage of any opportunities?
- DAX
- Was considering a long on DAX but did not like what I saw on LTF, plus trading right into H4 QHi with a 2/3 downtrend is not the best idea.
- Gold
- Took a quick small trade netting 0.5R on Gold after a 2nd chance entry presented itself upon first re-test of newly formed M30 Supply through Bear Engulf
Things I did well:
- Did well to stay objective and understand I did not know what the narrative was completely. And that’s okay.
Things I need to keep working on:
- Being focused and patient.
